In the gathering of lovers

and scattered in the wind.
A strange illness has befallen my friend!
Sighing and moaning all night
he bashes his head against the wall.
There are no visible symptoms
no fever, no headache.
The doctor taking his pulse declared
his illness not ordinary but caused
by the state of his heart.
My friend refuses food and drink
could it be that the medicine he needs is love?
Lord, please have mercy, cure him of his misery.
